Rationale
With this project, it dealt with a lot of researching Johannesburg while looking at past and present olyimpic logos. I wanted to create a logo with bright vibrant colors while representing a beautiful art style, specifially the geometric art of the Ndebele tribe with my own twist. I had picked colors that are seen within those works and adjusted them accordingly, making them more vibrant and adding additional colors that reminded me of the city. For fonts, I wanted a combination of bold yet thin and sleek. The boldness with act as the bold black lines that come from the original Ndebele tribe art while it not physically being there within the logo design.
